Solar boat side lights use the photovoltaic effect of solar energy to convert solar energy into electrical energy. They are automatically charged during the day and work automatically at night to achieve warning and navigation effects.
Standards of Solar Marine Boat Light
According to the international IALA convention, the LED marine sidelight standards stipulate that red port lights and green starboard lights should be installed on the left and right sides of the highest deck of the ship respectively.
These LED lights are displayed continuously within a horizontal arc of 112.5 degrees, and can be clearly displayed within 22.5 degrees from the front of the ship to the back of each side. Taillights and mast lights are usually white.
Functions of Solar Boat Side Lights
- The continuous working time on rainy days can reach more than 7 days (12 hours a day).
- With built-in light control, the light can be automatically turned on on rainy days or at night.
- Standardized optical design and high photoelectric conversion efficiency.
- Adopting high-efficiency solar chips, the photoelectric conversion efficiency exceeds 19%.
- Integrated waterproof design, can be immersed in seawater, protection level IP68.
- Adopting special customized LED chips, the transmission efficiency and service life are higher than ordinary Leds.
- The lamp has an external state conversion switch, which can adjust the constant light or flashing working state of the lamp according to needs.
- It has strong corrosion resistance, lightning resistance, UV resistance and impact resistance.
- The base is made of marine-grade special plastic material, which is suitable for sea, rivers, chemical plants and airports with harsh corrosive environments.
- Equipped with bird-proof device.
- No radio frequency, no electromagnetic interference.
- Stable operation and low cost.
Application
In addition to being used as port lights and starboard lights, solar boat side lights can also be used for the following:
Navigation ships, large ships, small yachts, inland waterway buoys, fixed light piles, marine aquaculture, offshore buoys, offshore bridges, offshore oil field derrick signal lights and airport surrounding facilities sign navigation lights. It is not only a sign light for nighttime aviation obstacles, but also a warning navigation.
Precautions For Use
Solar Marine Navigation Warning Light
- Please read the instructions carefully and use the solar warning light correctly.
- Solar boat lights must be installed in a sunny place to maintain continuous operation.
- Please install this solar light on a mounting plane perpendicular to the optical axis, and the mounting plane should have mechanical strength.
- If the device doesn’t work when used for the first time, please place the device in the sun for 12~24 hours to charge, and it will work.
- Please turn off the device and put it in a dry place to ensure the battery life. If you need to store it for a long time, please place it in the sun for 5 days (every 3 months) to charge it.
