What are the Steps to Install a Medium Intensity Obstruction Light?
The installation of a medium intensity obstruction light can be divided into two steps:
One is pre-buried wire tubes;
The other is exposed wire tubes.
Pre-buried wire tubes, that is, pre-buried wire tubes of no less than Φ25 to the predetermined position of the obstruction light according to the number and diameter of the required wires.
For exposed wire tubes, insert the wires into the wire tubes according to the design requirements, and use fixing screws or expansion screws to fix the base. Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram and connect the ground wire to the lightning protection net.
During the installation process, it should be noted that the aviation obstruction light is a GPS satellite wireless control aviation obstruction light that needs to search for satellite signals outdoors for about one minute before it can work normally.
Aviation obstruction lights should be installed in the lightning protection zone, and there should be no other light interference around the obstruction light. The outer shell should be reliably grounded.
After the Medium Intensity Obstruction Light system is installed, all wiring should be carefully checked to be correct and reliable, and the line insulation is good. Only after confirmation can it be powered on for debugging.
When debugging is carried out during the day, the photosensitive hole can be covered with a black object. After a few seconds, the red signal indicator on the controller panel should be lit, and the obstruction light should flash at the specified frequency; when the obstruction object is removed, the obstruction light should stop working.
If the fault Medium Intensity Obstruction Light is found to be lit, the lamp should be further checked to see if it is working normally. If the lamp fails, a professional should be notified in time for repair.
